Marking its 26th annual event, Dubai’s largest shopping extravaganza, Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), selects Idealz as its official digital solutions partner.
Idealz, the UAE’s innovative rewards-based e-commerce shopping platform known for its grand prizes, recently announced its exclusive partnership with Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE), organizer of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), to launch a series of digital prize campaigns for this year’s DSF, taking place from December 17, 2020 to January 30, 2021.
DFRE’s partnership with Idealz is the first of its kind in the history of DSF and was conceptualized to adapt to the current shift of business activity to online due to the pandemic. This year’s line-up will see Idealz roll out and facilitate a range of high-value digital prize campaigns from cash, gold, jewellery and electronic bundles to motorbikes and luxury cars.
Having kicked-off in mid-November, the partnership is made up of three key initiatives that will keep retail lovers on the edge of their seat throughout the city’s biggest shopping extravaganza.
First Initiative – Prizes ranging in value up to AED250,000
Idealz’ first initiative will be to continue releasing its usual prize draw campaigns for cash, jewellery, cars, watches, etc., but under the DSF umbrella. Operating as per usual, these campaigns will be accessible on Idealz’ website and mobile application, available for customers globally to participate in throughout the shopping festival period. In contrast to Idealz’ typical prize campaigns, draws for each of these campaigns will be held live on the DSF stage at Global Village and broadcasted live on Sama Dubai TV during the DSF period from December 17, 2020 until January 30, 2021.
Second Initiative – AED500,000 Mega Prize Winner
In the second initiative of this rewarding partnership, Idealz is giving away a mega prize of half a million dirhams in cash to one lucky winner on the last day of DSF, which will be drawn on January 30 2021. This campaign is already on Idealz’ website and mobile application and will be live until January 28, 2020. A winner will be announced live on the DSF stage at Global Village and broadcasted live on Sama Dubai TV.
Third Initiative – Infiniti Mega Raffle
Each year, DSF hosts a Mega Raffle campaign where customers can buy a ticket for AED200 at any ZOOM convenience store for a chance to win a brand-new Infiniti car plus a cash prize. This year, DSF has partnered with Idealz to allow entrants a safer and more convenient way to participate in the raffle. In this event, DSF will run its Infiniti Mega Raffle where one lucky participant will be presented with the life-changing opportunity to win a luxurious Infiniti QX60 car as well as a AED200,000 cash prize. The new partnership with Idealz will enable shoppers to buy a ‘Twain Set’ for AED200 on Idealz’ online shopping platform from the comfort and safety of their homes to participate in this campaign. What’s more, for the first time ever, considering the global nature of Idealz’ platform, the DSF Mega Raffle is open to participants from all over the world.
